Time

It’s Juneteenth, again

Black children are fighting for our rights, again

Black churches are activated, again

Black women are on the watch, again

And Black men? Black men are on the front lines, again

The administration is erasing Black history, again

Taking away our educational opportunities again, striping Civil Rights, again

Making it hard to vote,

 again

Allies are gonna have to choose again,

What color is American?

Which language is American?

Black people, we are helping to define America, again.

It’s freedom time again!

It’s Black Liberation time, again!

It's Black Preservation time, again!

Black Champion time

Black jubilee time

It’s Juneteen time, again!

And, my friend,

My brother,

My sister

My beautiful, beautiful

Black family,

It is our time.
