Public Square Amplified is an award-winning, grassroots news organization that centers the community voice, reports from the periphery, and places the work in historical context. We will celebrate our 4th anniversary on November 11, 2025.

On November 1, we kicked off our 2025 NewsMatch fundraising campaign. Your support in this endeavor is critical to sustaining the operations of our organization

Here are ways to support us and increase the impact of your gift:

Join the Philanthropic Access Partner Fund is awarded to newsrooms that primarily serve the information needs of audiences whose representation in philanthropic giving is disproportional to their representation in the U.S. population. It is supported by a coalition of funders, including Democracy Fund, the Heising-Simons Foundation, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Public Square Amplified will receive up to $2,500 in additional match funds based on your performance in the campaign.
